Bric

Walter Spiller’s review for Jancis Robinson back in 2014:

460 Casina Bric Barolo 2010

Spicy yet holding back on the nose. Impressive concentration of fruit on the palate kept in check by perfectly built grainy tannins.

Casina Bric Barolo

The Barolo stands like no other red wine in Italy for top quality. Many winegrowers in the Barolo area are among the stars in Italy, the wines are internationally awarded. Even for wine tourists, the Barolo area offers everything you could wish for: beautiful landscapes, excellent wines and excellent cuisine. At 460 meters above sea level, Casina Bric (which in the Piemontese dialect means 001chilltop farm 001d) is the highest altitude Barolo estate in the Langhe region. Here, Gianluca Viberti makes his Barolo with the utmost respect for the wine territory that dates back to the 1700s when it was home to a monastery.
